You can find us at 4A, Nasiruddin Road, which is right by the Park Circus 7 Point crossing. If you know Kolkata, you know that crossing is one of the busiest spots you can imagine. It’s a whirlwind of cars, buses, and people all day long. Charu Leisure & Holidays is tucked away just far enough from the main noise, but we can still hear the city breathing. Our office is a simple place. We don’t have marble floors or glass walls. It’s just a comfortable space where we sit down and look at maps and schedules. We spend a lot of time talking to people and trying to figure out the best way to get them from one place to another. It’s a lot of logistical work, really. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to tidy up the files. Other days, the phone won’t stop ringing and we’re all talking at once. We don’t use any of those scripted lines you hear from big companies. We just speak our minds and try to be helpful. It’s a small team here, so we all know each other’s business. We like the energy of Park Circus. There is always something happening outside, and it keeps us on our toes. We just keep things moving, one day at a time, without trying to be something we aren't.
