Change Management Unit(Under Directorate Of Local Bodies)

We operate out of 13/2A Vivekananda Park in the Bansdroni area of Kolkata. We are a unit under the Directorate of Local Bodies, so it is a government-related setup. The office is located in a building that looks much like the houses around it, right near the park. It is a fairly quiet neighborhood, which helps us focus on the tasks we have to do. Most of our day is spent dealing with administrative changes and various types of paperwork for local authorities. It is not a fast-paced environment; things move at a steady and deliberate speed here. We have rooms filled with large cabinets and shelves that are packed with heavy folders from different municipalities across West Bengal. The staff here has been around for quite a while, so there is a lot of experience and local knowledge in the room. We do not have a modern lobby or any fancy digital displays. It is mostly just standard desks, chairs, and stacks of paper waiting to be processed. The windows look out onto the local street, and you can hear kids playing in the park during the afternoons. We spend a lot of time in meetings or writing up long reports about how things are functioning in different districts. We just handle the tasks assigned to our unit and try to keep everything organized.
