Champak Infosolution

Being on the third floor of number 41 Lenin Sarani means we get a lot of exercise every day. Champak Infosolution has been in this building for a long time, and the stairs don't get any easier. Kolkata is always loud, and down on the street, it’s a constant mess of horns and people shouting, but up here it’s a little bit quieter. We have a lot of old computers stacked in the corners because we never seem to throw anything away. You never know when you might need a specific screw or a weird cable from ten years ago. It’s a bit of a maze with all the desks shoved together. Most of the guys here have been working together for years, so we know who makes the best tea and who is going to be late because of the bus. We handle a lot of technical stuff that would probably bore most people. Sometimes the internet goes out and we all just sit around talking until it comes back on. It’s not the most modern office you’ll ever see. The paint is peeling a bit near the window where the rain hits it during the monsoon. We just keep the fans running and try to get through the pile of work on our desks. It’s a living, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythms of Lenin Sarani.
