Care - Communication & Events

Our office is at 29B Picnic Garden Road in Kolkata. If you’ve ever been down this road, you know it can get pretty crowded with people and shops. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The space inside is mostly taken up by desks and stacks of old event folders. We do communication work and handle events, which means things are usually a bit chaotic. There is always someone looking for a missing cable or a specific contact number. We don’t have a fancy dress code or anything. Most of us just wear whatever is comfortable for a long day of work. The lights in the back room flicker a little, but we haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. We use a lot of post-it notes to remember things. It’s not a silent office; there is usually music playing or someone talking loudly on their mobile. We get a lot of dust coming in from the street, so we are always wiping down the monitors. It’s a small operation, really. We just like being in this part of town because it feels alive. We don't have a big corporate mission or anything, we just try to make sure each event we work on goes off without too much trouble. It is just daily work for us. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay organized. That is about it.
