Calcutta Management Association

Calcutta Management Association is a bit of an interesting setup with two locations. We are officially at 21 Vivekananda Road in Nabagram, which is out in the Hooghly district. But then there is also the spot at 1077 Madurdaha in Kolkata. It means we cover some ground. People around Hooghly know the Vivekananda Road office well. It has been a local fixture for a long time. Then there is the Madurdaha side of things in the city. We deal with management stuff, mostly organizing and keeping things running. It is not always easy keeping track of everything between these two places. We spend a lot of time on the phone or traveling back and forth. The office in Nabagram has that old-school feel to it. It has been part of the community for years. Over in Madurdaha, it is more of the Kolkata hustle. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just handle the day-to-day management tasks as they come. It is mostly paperwork and meetings with local people. Sometimes the rain makes the commute a real pain. We just deal with it. Our team is small and we have known each other for a long while. It is a practical way of working. We do not use big words to describe what we do. We just make sure the management side of things is sorted for whoever needs it.
