Calcutta Communication Media

Calcutta Communication Media is way out in Barasat. We are at 37, Krishnangar Road, in the Nabapalli area. Being in Barasat is different from being in central Kolkata. It feels more like a town than a city. The office is on the main Krishnangar Road, so it’s easy to find but it’s always busy with traffic going toward the border or up north. We handle communication stuff here. It’s a plain building. We don’t have any elevators, just the stairs. We spend our days dealing with local clients and media projects. The pace is a bit different here. It’s not as rushed as the city center. We take our time to get things right. There is a lot of dust from the road, so we are always cleaning our desks. We have a small kitchen area where we make our own tea. Most of us live within a few kilometers, so we either walk or take a cycle. It’s a very local operation. We don’t have a marketing team or a sales department. We just do the work that comes in. Nabapalli is a decent place to be based. You get to know everyone on the street. It’s an honest way to make a living. We don’t use a lot of fancy technology, just what we need to get the job done. It’s practical and it works for us every single day.
