Buyonce Online Pvt. Ltd. is based out of the Diamond Arcade on Old Jessore Road. We are up on the 4th floor in Room No. 404 at Plot No. 68. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens once in a while, but it’s a decent enough office space for what we do. Being so close to the bus stand means there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside. You can hear the conductors shouting and the buses pulling in all day long. Inside the office, things are a bit quieter, mostly just the sound of keyboards and people talking on the phone. We’ve been in this building for some time now. The 4th floor gives us a bit of a view of the road, though it's mostly just rooftops and traffic. We manage everything from this small room. There are desks piled with papers and a few computers that have seen better days but still work fine. It’s not the kind of place with glass walls or fancy carpets. We are just a group of people trying to keep an online business running smoothly. Most of our day is spent tracking orders and making sure things are headed where they need to go. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving while we work through the pile of tasks on our desks. We stay until the last package is sorted.
