Mercury Leathers

Mercury Leathers is based out of 23, Chaul Patty Road in Beliaghata. We’ve been here a while now, right near the Science City area, which always has a lot of traffic and people moving around. It’s a busy part of town. Our daily routine usually starts pretty early because that’s when the area is coolest before the sun really hits. Being on Chaul Patty Road means we see a lot of the same faces every day, which is nice. We mostly deal with leather goods and materials. There is always a pile of stuff to sort through or orders to get ready for someone to pick up later. Sometimes the noise from the main road gets a bit loud, but you get used to it after a few months. It isn’t a fancy place, just a regular workspace where things get done. We have some fans that stay on all day to keep the air moving, especially when it gets humid. People find us easily because we’re so close to the Science City side of things. Most of the staff live nearby, so they walk or take a cycle to get here. We don’t have a big corporate setup or anything like that. It is just a handful of us working with the leather, checking the quality, and making sure the counts are right before things leave the door. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday without much fuss or drama around the shop.
