Poddar Fire Protection

We are Poddar Fire Protection, and you can find us at No. 122/1 B. T. Road, right in the Dunlop area. B. T. Road is always packed with traffic, so there’s a lot of noise and dust coming in from the street. Our shop is full of fire extinguishers, hoses, and all sorts of safety gear. It’s a bit cramped because those tanks take up a lot of room. We spend our days checking valves and refilling cylinders. It’s dirty work sometimes, getting hands-on with the equipment. Being at the Dunlop intersection is handy because it’s easy for people to drop things off. We’ve been at this location for a while. It’s a practical spot for a business like ours. We don't have any fancy displays. It’s just shelves of red canisters and rolls of hose. People come in when they need their equipment serviced or when they’re worried about inspections. We just give them what they need and explain how it works. It’s a very straightforward business. We aren't trying to sell anyone something they don't need. Safety is just a job for us, and we do it every day from this spot on B. T. Road. The heat from the road can be a lot in the summer, but we stay busy enough to ignore it. We keep a ledger of all the refills we do so we can remind people when they’re due for another check-up.
