Sonali Bangles

We are located right on B. T. Road. If you know this road, you know it’s one of the main veins of the city and it’s always moving. The traffic never really stops, so there is a constant stream of buses and cars passing right by our door. Our shop is easy to spot if you are looking for it, but it’s just a modest place. Inside, we have rows of glass cases where we keep everything. The light catches the glass and makes the whole place feel a bit brighter than it actually is. We spend a lot of time cleaning the dust off the counters because of all the vehicles outside. It’s a small team here, usually just two or three of us at any time. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day long. In the rainy season, the sound of the rain on the roof can be quite loud, which makes it hard to hear people talking sometimes. We have a small back room where we store the extra boxes and have our lunch. It’s not a corporate setup by any means. It’s a local business where we know many of our customers by their first names. They stop in while they are out doing their regular shopping on the road. We just do our best to keep the shelves full and the shop open.
