Our place is in the Sonar Gaon Complex, specifically Flat No-3/2E on the second floor. You have to come down Sonarpur Station Road to find us. We are right across from the Karbala Math, or the mosque there in Narendrapur. It’s a decent climb up the stairs but the view of the road is okay. Kolkata 700103 is where we call home. The office is usually filled with papers and schedules scattered across the desks. We handle events, so there’s always something being planned or some phone call we need to make. It’s not a big corporate setup, just a flat that we use to run the business. Sometimes the traffic on Station Road makes it hard to get in and out quickly, especially during the rush hours. We spend a lot of time coordinating with different people to make sure things happen when they are supposed to. It’s practical work. We don't use much fancy terminology here. We just look at what needs to be done and try to find a way to make it happen within the time we have. The stairs can be a bit of a workout if you’re carrying equipment, but we’re used to it by now. Being near the mosque means we hear the calls to prayer, which adds a certain rhythm to our workday. It’s a busy, real place where we just do our best to stay on top of the schedule.
