Bose Information Technology Pvt Ltd is based at 396 Vidyasagar, over in Kolkata 47. We’ve been working out of this spot for quite some time now. It’s an IT business, but we don't act like those big fancy firms you see in the city center. It’s more of a neighborhood operation. We handle things like software, fixing computers, and helping people get their networks running without falling apart. The office is usually a bit cluttered with cables, old monitors, and half-empty cups of tea. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting things that shouldn't have broken in the first place. It’s a lot of trial and error sometimes. The area around Vidyasagar is pretty lived-in and comfortable, which suits us just fine. We don't wear suits or anything like that. Most of us just show up in whatever is clean and start working on the latest project. When the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just sit around and talk until it comes back on. It’s a small team, so we all know each other’s business and how we work. We don't have any big slogans or goals other than just making sure the tech works for the people who pay us. It’s a decent way to spend the day, and we’re happy to be doing it here in Kolkata. We’ve got a small balcony where we take breaks, though it’s mostly just a place to watch the street traffic. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid.
