Biswajit Sil

I am Biswajit Sil, and you can find me over at 74/1 Rahim Ostagar Road. This part of Kolkata has a specific rhythm to it. It’s tucked away enough that you don't get the worst of the main road noise, but it’s still easy for people to find me. I’ve been working out of this address for quite some time now. It’s a modest setup, nothing too grand. I just put in the hours and do what needs to be done. Most days, I’m here from the morning until the sun goes down. The building is older, which I like because it has some character. My workspace is usually a bit cluttered with notes and projects, but I know where everything is. It’s just me mostly, though sometimes a friend or two stops by to help with the heavy lifting. Living and working in the 45 area means I’m close to everything I need. The local tea stall is just a short walk away, which is where most of my breaks happen. It’s a very local way of doing things, very traditional. I don’t see the need for a big fancy sign or lots of advertisements. People around here know who I am and where to find me if they need something. It’s a simple life at Rahim Ostagar Road, but it keeps me busy and I like the pace of it. I usually spend my Saturday afternoons catching up on cleaning the office.
