System Service

Our shop is located at 63/1 B. K. Moitra Road over in Baranagar. If you know the area, it’s not too hard to find, though the house numbering can be a little confusing for people visiting for the first time. We’ve got a lot of tools and parts scattered around because things are always being taken apart or put back together. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know exactly where everything is. The fan in the main room makes a bit of a clicking sound that we’ve stopped noticing. Most of the day is spent handling repairs and checking systems for people in the neighborhood. We get a lot of walk-ins, people from the nearby houses who have something that stopped working. It’s a practical kind of job. We don’t wear uniforms or anything, just whatever is comfortable for getting under a desk or handling greasy parts. The light in the back office is a bit dim, so we mostly congregate in the front where the window is. There’s a tea stall just a few doors down that does a brisk business, and we’re probably their best customers. Sometimes the internet goes out when the weather gets bad, and we all just sit around talking until it comes back on. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we’ve been at it long enough that the routine feels like second nature to everyone here.
