Baksi & Associates

Our office is at Ce 14, Sector 1, in Salt Lake City, Kolkata. It’s a residential-style building that we use for our professional work. We like it here because it is a bit quieter than the main commercial hubs, though finding parking can still be a bit of a headache sometimes. Baksi & Associates is really just a group of us working through files and talking to people who need some help with their paperwork or legal matters. Inside, you’ll find bookshelves filled with old volumes and a lot of folders stacked on every available surface. It’s the kind of office where you can tell a lot of work gets done because it’s not perfectly tidy. We have a small area where guests can sit while they wait, and there is usually a fan humming in the background. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to act like we are better than anyone else. We just listen to what people need and try to sort it out for them. Most of our clients have been coming to us for years, so we know their stories pretty well. It feels more like a community spot than a cold corporate office. We take our tea breaks seriously and often end up talking about local news while we have a biscuit.
