Bajaj Chemicals

Bajaj Chemicals is situated at 79A, Dr. Lal Mohan, Bhattacharjee Road. It’s a bit of an older part of the city, and the street can get quite narrow when there are trucks parked on both sides. We’ve been operating out of this building for quite some time now. It’s a solid structure, though the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint if we ever found the time. We handle a lot of different things here, mostly involving drums and containers that need careful moving. The smell of the chemicals is something you just stop noticing after the first hour of work, though visitors always seem to mention it. It’s a practical place. We don’t have a big reception area or anyone to greet you at the door. You usually just find one of us in the back or near the loading area. The paperwork is kept in a bunch of old metal cabinets that squeak every time you open them. We have a routine that we follow, starting early in the morning before the traffic on Bhattacharjee Road gets too heavy. Lunch is usually something quick brought from home. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. Bajaj Chemicals is just a local business trying to get the orders filled and keeping things running smoothly day after day. It’s hard work, and the days are often long, but that’s just how it goes here.
