ATLAS COPCO CONSTRUCTION & MINING SALES

Our office is up on the second floor of Trinity Plaza on Topsia Road. It's the west wing, so you have to walk down the hall a bit to find us. Atlas Copco Construction & Mining Sales has been operating from this spot in Kolkata for quite some time now. We handle a lot of the heavy equipment side of things, specifically for construction sites and mining projects. It's mostly about parts, sales, and talking to people about what their projects need. The office is usually full of catalogs and spec sheets. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with site managers who come into the city. Topsia Road can be a real nightmare with the traffic, so we usually tell people to give themselves extra time if they’re coming for a meeting. We aren't doing the actual digging here, obviously, but we make sure the people who do have what they need. It’s a lot of technical talk and checking numbers. The team here knows the equipment inside and out because most of us have been around this stuff for years. It’s a practical environment. We have desks, some computers, and a lot of coffee. We don’t really do fancy presentations. We just show you what’s available and what the lead times are for getting it to your site. It works for us.
