Amit Earth Movers

Our place is at 123/2 on A.P.C. Road, right in the middle of the Maniktala Bazar area. If you know the bazar, you know how crowded it gets with all the people and the noise. Keeping our earth moving business running from here is a challenge, especially getting the big machines through the market traffic. We have been part of the local scene for a while now, and the neighborhood has changed quite a bit over the years. Daily routines involve checking on engines and making sure the hydraulic lines are okay before the machines head out to a construction site. The shop is more of a garage than anything else, with grease on the floors and tools scattered on the benches. It is a loud place, especially when the loaders are revved up, but that is just the sound of work getting done. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you will likely find us in our work clothes, probably trying to get a stubborn bolt loose or talking to a driver about a job. Life on A.P.C. Road is busy, but being in the heart of the bazar where everything happens is where we belong. We keep the machines ready for the next call and just keep moving along with the day. Most of our work is local, so we know the ground around here pretty well.
