Arambaghs Nursery

Arambaghs Nursery is tucked away at 59 B Chowringhee Road. If you know this part of the city, you know how busy Chowringhee can get. It’s a major road, but we’ve managed to keep our spot going amidst all the noise and traffic. We deal with plants and greenery, which feels a bit strange sometimes given how much concrete is all around us. The nursery isn't some massive garden; it’s more of a practical space where we keep things organized. We spend a lot of our time watering, pruning, and making sure everything stays healthy. There’s always dirt on the floor and the smell of damp soil in the air, which we don't mind at all. People stop by while they are out on their daily errands or just passing through the area. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Usually, it's just a few of us here making sure the plants are okay and talking to customers who want something for their homes or offices. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze at 59 B sometimes, especially when we get a new shipment in. We’ve been here for quite a while, and we’ve seen the buildings around us change, but we are still doing the same thing. It’s a simple life, working with plants right in the middle of a busy city street. We just take it one day at a time.
