Aqua Plastic Centre

Aqua Plastic Centre is over at 2/2A, Deb Lane, right by the Bank Of India in Entally. It is a narrow street and can be hard to find if you aren't looking closely. We have been here for years, surrounded by other small shops and people going about their business. Most of our day is spent moving plastic containers and various household items around the small storage space we have. It gets quite cramped when we get a lot of stock in. We try to keep things organized but sometimes a stack of buckets or tubs ends up blocking the way. The light in the back of the shop is a bit dim so we use a torch sometimes to find specific things. Entally is a loud place with lots of traffic and people talking, and our shop feels like a part of that whole mess. We know many of the faces who walk by every day. Some people stop to chat for a minute even if they aren't buying anything. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure the shop stays open and the customers get what they are looking for. It is practical work and it keeps us on our feet. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it is muggy outside. It’s just how we do things here on Deb Lane, keeping things simple and moving through the work.
