Our office is at No. 7/1 Lord Sinha Road, up on the second floor in room 209. Apv Impex Pvt. Ltd. is basically a few of us sitting around desks, making sure everything is moving the way it should. It’s a good spot in the city, easy to get to, though parking can be a real pain if you arrive late. We’ve been here for a few years now. The office has big windows, but we usually keep the blinds down because of the sun. Most of our work is done on the phone or through email, coordinating with suppliers and buyers across the region. It’s a lot of waiting sometimes, and then everything happens at once. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, one of us will just look up from our computer and say hello. We keep a kettle in the corner for tea, which gets used a lot throughout the day. The building is a bit older, so it has that specific smell of old paper and dust. We try to stay organized, but with all the different regulations, the files just keep growing in number. It’s a steady kind of life. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to make sure our clients get what they need on time. It's a lot of detail work that most people don't see. We just put in the hours and hope for the best.
