Working at 7 G. C. Avenue means dealing with the constant buzz of the city center. A. T. C. Oversease Pvt. Ltd. occupies a space in this old commercial building. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we're too busy with our daily routines to worry about that. There is a small tea shop nearby where most of us grab a cup before starting the morning. The hallway is narrow and usually has some boxes stacked up. It’s a bit of a maze in here if you’re new. We spend most of our time at our desks, typing away or checking documents. Sometimes the internet is slow, which is annoying, but we manage. On rainy days, the street outside gets flooded quickly, and we end up staying late until the water goes down. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some desks, a few chairs, and a lot of filing cabinets. The staff here is mostly local folks who take the bus or the metro. We’ve been in this building long enough that we know all the security guards and the delivery guys by name. It’s a plain place, but it works for us. We just focus on getting our stuff done and heading home on time when the work allows it. It gets dark in the corridors early, so we keep the lights on.
