Apeejay Group

You can find us over at Rabindra Bhawan, right on M.B. Road in the Behala area. It’s a big old building, A-1 to be exact. Being in Rabindranagar means we’re right in the thick of things in South Kolkata. Apeejay Group has been around for a very long time, and this office reflects that history. It’s not one of those modern glass boxes you see in the new parts of town. It feels like a place where real work happens. We have a lot of different things going on under one roof, from tea to shipping and other bits and pieces. The halls are long and there are always people carrying files from one room to another. It gets quite loud with the traffic on M.B. Road outside, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve got a lot of staff who have been here for decades, so they know every corner of the place. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren't familiar with it. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or making things look corporate. We just focus on the day-to-day operations and keeping the wheels turning. It’s a practical sort of place. Some days are slow, but most of the time, there’s a steady hum of activity. Being in Behala gives us a different perspective compared to being right in the city center. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
