Anushka Creations

We’ve been running Anushka Creations from our spot at No. 21A Rani Sankari Lane for quite some time now. If you know the Harish Mukherjee Road area, you probably know the Palli Durga Mandir. We are right around there. It’s a busy little neighborhood and we fit right in. The workshop isn’t anything fancy. It’s mostly just us surrounded by rolls of fabric and the sound of sewing machines running all day. Sometimes the lane gets really crowded with people going to the temple, but we just keep our heads down and work. We don't have a big team or a slick office with air conditioning in every room. It’s just a place where we get things made. We handle various garment orders and try to stay on top of the pile of work on our big wooden tables. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when a big deadline is coming up. We usually have tea together in the afternoon when the local vendor stops by. It’s a simple life and we aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just focus on the clothes and making sure the stitching is done right. The building is old and has its quirks, but it works for what we need. We’ve seen many businesses come and go on this lane, but we are still here doing our thing day after day. It’s honest work and we’re glad to be a part of this community.
