There are scraps of vinyl, old signs, and computer monitors everywhere. We handle advertising and media stuff for local folks who need to get their name out there. It’s a small team here on Chandi Ghosh Road, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to fixing a design that doesn’t look quite right. The street outside can get quite noisy with the horns and people walking by, but we’re used to it by now. We don’t really go in for big speeches about our work. We just try to make sure the signs are straight and the colors don’t look muddy. It’s a lot of sitting and clicking on mice, then maybe some heavy lifting when a big board comes in. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while and have seen the shops around us change hands many times. We just keep our heads down and keep working on whatever project is on the desk. It’s a practical business, and we like the feeling of seeing something we made stuck up on a wall or a shop front somewhere in the city.
