Abhishekroy

You can find me at 1/35 in Ashoke Nagar. Kolkata-40 is my corner of the world. I’ve lived in this city all my life, so setting up here felt right. The building isn't new, it has that old Kolkata feel to it, maybe needs a bit of paint here and there on the outside. I started Abhishekroy without much of a plan, just a need to work. My desk is near the window so I can see what’s going on in the street below. It gets noisy with the horns and people shouting, but that's just part of life here. I don't have a receptionist or a lobby. People just knock on the door and walk in. Sometimes I’m in the middle of something and they have to wait a minute or two. I try to be fair with everyone. I don't like overcharging or using big words to sound important. I just do the work as it comes in. Ashoke Nagar is a busy place, plenty of shops around. My neighbors are mostly shopkeepers too. We all know each other's business and we look out for one another. I keep my hours pretty regular, though I stay late if there’s a lot to catch up on at the end of the month. It's a simple setup. Nothing to brag about. Just a workspace where I spend most of my day. I think people appreciate that I'm just a regular person they can talk to without any stress.
