If you head out on the Nerli - Tamgaon Road, you’ll find us at Vedant Tools Pvt Ltd. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but we like the space. We’ve been making tools for a good while now, and the shop is usually full of the sound of metal being worked. It’s not a flashy setup. We have our benches and our machines, and there’s usually a thin layer of oil on everything. That’s just part of tool making, I guess. We spend the morning going over what needs to be cut or shaped, and then we just get to it. Sometimes the delivery trucks take forever to find us because the road can be a bit tricky, but they get here in the end. We aren’t big on fancy meetings or long presentations. Most of our talking happens over a workbench or while we’re standing around the break area. It’s practical work. You have to be careful with the measurements because if a tool is off by even a little bit, it’s useless. We’ve had our share of long days when a machine breaks down or a shipment is late, but that’s just how business goes. The air smells like metal and cooling fluid, which is something you get used to after a week. It’s a simple life out here on the road, just making sure the tools are solid and ready for whoever needs them next.
