Manish Khapare Pictures

Manish Khapare Pictures is up on the fifth floor of Shivananda Heeights. Room 501. It’s in the Raman Mala area near Panchavati. We are quite close to NCL. Being up high means we get a bit of a breeze which is nice. The office is mostly filled with cameras and lenses and some editing screens. It can get a bit messy with all the cables lying around on the floor. We try to keep it organized but when a project is due everything just goes everywhere. Most of the time we are either out on a shoot or sitting here staring at monitors. It’s a small team. We make our own coffee because the stuff from the shop downstairs isn't very good. The building has an elevator but sometimes it’s faster to take the stairs if it’s busy. We spend a lot of hours here, sometimes late into the night. It’s not a corporate office with suits. We usually just wear jeans and t-shirts. People come by to talk about their projects and we show them what we are working on. There is a small balcony where we go to take a break and look at the trees near Raman Mala. It’s a good spot for what we do. We don't have a big sign outside. Just the number on the door. We have some old photos pinned to the wall that we keep just for memories. It’s a simple space where we can focus on the frames.
