Umbrella Mandap Decorators

Umbrella Mandap Decorators is located on Kasaba Bawada Road in the Kadamwadi area of Kolhapur. Our plot is near the D Y Patil Hospital. It’s a fairly open area compared to the city center, which is good because we need a lot of space for our bamboo poles, cloths, and sheds. Mandap work is heavy labor and requires a lot of patience. We spend most of our time out in the sun or under the rain setting up structures for weddings and public events. The storage yard is always a bit of a mess with piles of materials coming and going. We don't have a fancy office where you sit on leather chairs and get served coffee. Usually, we meet clients right here among the equipment or at the site where the work needs to be done. It’s a local Kolhapur business, and we speak the local language. We aren't trying to be trendy or modern; we just provide the traditional setups that people in this town expect. Kasaba Bawada Road can get busy with people going to the hospital, but we are used to the noise and the movement. We have a small crew of guys who have been with us for years. They know exactly how to tie the knots and secure the poles so everything stays up during the function. It’s hard work and your hands get rough, but it’s satisfying to see a finished mandap. We just take one job at a time.
