Shri Jalaram Mangal Karaylay

Our place is at 703/5 near Rajaram Chowk on Rajaram Road in Kolhapur. It’s a well-known spot in the 416008 area. We run a hall here for weddings and other gatherings. Most of our work involves getting the space ready for the next event. We spend a lot of time sweeping the floors, arranging chairs, and making sure the lights are working. It’s a big responsibility because people are coming here for important days in their lives. We don't use a lot of fancy talk about what we do at Shri Jalaram Mangal Karaylay; we just make sure the place is clean and ready on time. Sometimes there are two events in one weekend, which means we are working late into the night and early the next morning to switch things over. The Rajaram Road area is usually busy, so there’s always something happening outside. We’ve seen many families come through these doors over the years. We keep our own kitchen area simple and mostly focus on the main hall. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is hot, but we like seeing the events come together. We don't have a big office with computers; we are usually on our feet moving things around. It is a family-style operation where everyone chips in to help when things get busy. We just try to keep the place looking decent for the neighborhood and our guests.
