Shankar Earth Movers

You can find Shankar Earth Movers over at Sai Towers, right in the A Ward of Shivaji Peth. It’s 685 on the street. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. Shivaji Peth is always buzzing with people, so there is never a quiet moment around here. We deal with heavy machinery every day, mostly because that is what people in this area need for their building projects. It's not a glamorous job. We get a lot of grease on our clothes and the sun can be quite hot when we are out on a site. Inside the office at Sai Towers, it is a bit cooler, which is nice during the summer months. We don't really do much advertising. Most people just know where we are because we've been here so long. We started with just one machine and grew it from there. Now we have a few more pieces of equipment parked where we can find space. Sometimes parking around Shivaji Peth is a nightmare, but we make it work. We try to keep things simple. If someone needs a hole dug or some land cleared, they come talk to us. We check the schedule and see when we can get out there. It's just a regular local business run by people who live nearby. We know the roads and we know the soil around here. That helps when you're moving earth for a living.
