Our main base is located at Plot No. 15 in Shivraj Colony, right along Kalamwadi Road. You can find us fairly easily because we are quite close to the D.Y. Patil Hospital. It is a decent area for business, though the road out front can get really busy with all the traffic going toward the hospital. We deal specifically with earthmoving equipment like diggers, backhoes, and other heavy machinery. This kind of work requires a lot of space, so our lot is usually filled with big yellow machines and stacks of spare parts. I started this whole thing because there is always some kind of construction or digging going on around this part of town. We are definitely not a big corporation with fancy suits; we are just guys in work boots and shirts that usually have a few stains on them. The office is really just a small cabin on the edge of the lot where we keep all the logs and keys. It is often a bit of a mess with old invoices or blueprints lying around on the desk. We spend the majority of our day outside in the yard, checking on engines or talking to the operators. Some days the weather gets rough and the whole lot turns into a muddy mess, but the machines still need to be ready to go. We just try to keep the equipment in good shape so the local projects do not get delayed. It keeps us busy and the yard full of noise.
