Our factory is located in the MIDC area, right near the Vardhman Old Storage building. Being in an industrial zone means we are surrounded by trucks and other big plants all day long. The air always smells a bit like machinery and exhaust, which is just something you get used to after a week of working here. I spend most of my time walking between the different sections of the floor to make sure the machines are running like they should. It’s a big operation, but we try to keep things organized despite the constant movement. Sometimes the raw materials don't arrive on time and that throws off the whole schedule, which can be pretty frustrating. The office part of the building is just a few rooms with basic desks where we handle all the government paperwork and staff records. It’s not a place for visitors to come and see anything pretty; it’s a working site. We have workers coming in for different shifts, so the place never really sleeps. I often stay late to finish up the logs for the day while the night shift is just starting their work. It’s a lot of responsibility keeping everything moving in an MIDC plot, but it’s what we do. The nearby cold storage is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us among all these similar-looking factory gates. We just focus on the production and keeping the machines turning.
