Our workshop is based in the MIDC Shiroli area, specifically at the units C-19 and C-20. Since it is an industrial zone, there is always the constant sound of hammers or heavy machines in the background. It is a family-run kind of thing, which is why the name is what it is. We have been in this exact spot for years, and the walls really show it. There are oil stains and marks everywhere from the different engineering projects we have handled over the years. We do a lot of work for auto parts, which means a lot of precision is needed, but it also means a lot of mess. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or blue coolant. We have a small office space tucked away in the corner, but most of us stay out on the floor for the better part of the day. It is not a place where you would ever want to wear a nice suit or clean shoes. We wear heavy boots and thick work clothes that can get dirty. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a specific batch of parts if a machine breaks down earlier in the day. That is just part of the business we are in. We do not have a big fancy sign, just the unit numbers painted on the gate. People who need us usually know exactly where to find us in the MIDC.
