Working out of Block No. B-45 in Kagal Midc means we are right in the thick of the industrial zone. It’s a place where you can hear the sounds of industry from every direction. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and the routine hasn't changed much. The doors at B-45 open early, and the first thing we do is check the machines. Engineering is a lot about trial and error, even when you’ve been doing it as long as we have. We spend our days turning dials, checking tolerances, and making sure the metal behaves. It gets quite hot in Kagal during the summer, and the workshop can feel like an oven, but we just keep the fans going and carry on. There’s no marketing department here or anyone wearing a suit. Most of us are in work clothes that have seen better days. We eat lunch together on the benches outside when the weather allows. The floor is usually covered in a thin layer of dust and metal scraps, no matter how much we sweep. It’s the kind of place where people come when they need something made properly without any fuss. We don’t spend much time on decorations or making the place look pretty. The focus is always on the work sitting on the benches. It’s a straightforward life in the MIDC, and we’re happy to be a part of the local manufacturing community here.
