We are Sagar Sound And Light System, located over in B Ward of Mangalwar Peth in Kolhapur. Our shop is at 1718, and if you're looking for us, the best way is to find the Bajaprao Mane Talim. We are right near there. Mangalwar Peth is an old part of the city with narrow streets and lots of history. Our day usually involves a lot of checking lights and testing out the sound systems. It can get pretty cramped in the shop with all the metal stands and the big lights tucked into the corners. We aren't trying to be some big national company; we just focus on the work right here in Kolhapur. Most people find out about us just by seeing our name on the boxes when we are out working. We don’t do much advertising because we’re usually too busy fixing a wire or loading up for the next job. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting heavy boxes and climbing up to set things up. Sometimes we're working late into the night when everyone else is sleeping. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we do. The neighborhood is friendly, and we like being near the Talim where there’s always something happening. We just keep things simple and do the work that needs doing. It’s a regular life for us here, just dealing with the daily grind of the sound and light business.
