Rising Stars Learning Center

Our center is tucked away in the 3rd Lane of Rajarampuri. We are on the second floor of the Silverarch building, which is number 305/1765. It is a bit of a walk up the stairs, but people seem to find us just fine. Kolhapur is a busy place, and Rajarampuri has its own energy. At Rising Stars Learning Center, things are usually a bit noisy because we have students coming in at all hours. We have a few rooms set up for different groups. The furniture is practical, mostly just wooden desks and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. We don’t have a big reception area or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, one of us just looks up from a desk when someone walks in. The light in the afternoons is quite bright in the front rooms. We have a few cupboards filled with old notebooks and teaching materials. It’s a very local operation. Most of the families who come to us live within walking distance or a short rickshaw ride away. We know the names of the regulars and their parents. It feels more like a community space than a formal school. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The Silverarch building has other offices too, so there is always someone moving about in the corridor. It’s a steady, everyday kind of place for learning and we enjoy the rhythm of the school day.
