Krishna'S Gurukul Pre School

We have our little pre-school set up in Yashwant Colony in Ichalkaranji. It’s a small place because we only deal with the very young children who are just starting their education. Most of them are just three or four years old, so it’s often their first time away from their mothers for a few hours. We have some colorful mats on the floor and some basic toys for them to play with during the day. The building is in a residential street, so it’s mostly quiet except for when the kids are outside for their play time. We have a couple of rooms where we do the activities like drawing and singing. It’s not a big institution, just a small local pre-school run by people who live nearby. We spend the day singing songs, learning colors, and playing together. It can get pretty messy with the crayons and the snacks they bring from home. We don't have a big corporate team behind us, just a few of us who enjoy working with children. The parents are usually neighbors or people from nearby streets. We know most of them by name. It’s a very informal atmosphere here compared to a big high school. We just want the kids to be happy and learn a few basic things before they move on to a bigger school. The front gate is always kept closed for safety, but parents can come in to talk to us whenever they need. It’s just a simple, honest little school in the colony.
