Anjali Pre-Primary School Datta Colony Kaneri

We are located in Datta Colony within the Kaneri area of Kolhapur, specifically on Kanerimath Road. Our school is a place for the little ones who are just starting their education journey. We have both pre-primary and primary sections here. Most of our students come from the houses right around the colony. It gets very loud in the mornings when the gates open and parents bring their children in. We have put up some colorful posters on the walls to make the rooms look a bit more cheerful for the toddlers. The building is basic and functional, which suits us just fine. We spend our days teaching the alphabet, numbers, and some simple songs that the kids like to sing. It takes a lot of energy to keep up with them all day long. The staff here are mostly women from the local area who have a lot of patience for small children. We do not have any expensive playground equipment, just some space for the kids to sit and play with toys or do some drawing. Sometimes we have small programs where the children dress up, and the families come to watch and take photos. It is a small community school and we focus on getting the children ready for the bigger schools they will go to later. We stay until the last child is picked up in the afternoon.
