Airstrom India

Our office is number 18 in the Indira Housing Society over in Kabnoor, Ichalkaranji. Airstrom India is a small operation that we run from this residential-style complex. It’s a bit different from a typical commercial block, which we actually prefer. It feels more like a community here. The office itself is quite basic. We have some shelving for our documents and a couple of sturdy tables. We deal with industrial parts and equipment mostly. Being in Ichalkaranji means we are surrounded by a lot of textile and manufacturing activity. It’s a hardworking town. We spend a lot of time on the road visiting sites, so the office is sometimes empty for a few hours. When we are here, it’s usually to catch up on emails or sort out shipping details. The room is a bit small, so we have to stay organized. We’ve got an old air cooler that makes a lot of noise but keeps us comfortable. Most of the people in the housing society know us by now. It’s not a place for walk-in customers really. We mostly work with businesses we’ve known for years. There’s no marketing department here. It’s just us handling the orders and making sure things get delivered. It’s a simple way to run a business. We don't need much else. We just focus on the work at hand and keeping things moving. That's the way it goes for us.
