Attar Cement Company

Attar Cement Company is located At & Post Balanga. We are right across from Bharatpergum on the Gagan Bawda Road. If you are driving down that specific road, you can’t really miss our place. It’s a busy stretch of road with plenty of heavy trucks and vehicles passing by all the time. Since we are a cement company, the whole place stays a bit gray with dust most of the time. We try to keep it somewhat clean, but it is a losing battle. The yard is usually full of heavy bags waiting to be loaded onto trucks. We have a small crew of people here. It’s the kind of job where you have to wear sturdy boots and you can't mind getting your clothes a little bit dirty by the end of the shift. The sun hits the Gagan Bawda Road pretty hard in the afternoons, so we try to take our breaks in the shade when we can find some. There is a lot of noise from the passing traffic and the loading machines. It is not the kind of work where you sit at a desk all day. We are mostly on our feet, checking the inventory or talking to the truck drivers. Balanga is a good spot for us because the road access is easy. We don't have any big signs or fancy lights. The building is just practical. People stop by because they saw us while driving or a neighbor told them where we were. It’s a very simple way to work.
