Our travel shop is located at Gala Number A 2 inside the Mahalaxmi Chambers. We are right at Dabholkar Corner in Kolhapur, which is a very hectic spot because the S T Stand is just across the way. There are always buses moving in and out, so the noise from the engines and the horns never really stops during the day. We have been at this location for a long time and have seen many shops come and go. Our office is small and gets a bit dusty because of all the traffic outside, but we don't mind it much. Inside, we have a simple counter and some wooden benches where people can sit while they wait for their travel details. We spend a lot of our time booking tickets and answering questions about when the buses are leaving. It can be a lot of work to keep everything organized, especially when it is a holiday weekend and everyone is trying to get out of town at once. We are just a small group of people who understand how the local routes work. Sometimes we go over to the tea stall nearby to take a break and talk with the drivers. We don't try to act like a big corporation. We just want to help people get their seats so they can get where they are going.
