D T Desai is located at H No 618, in Sapar Galli. This is right in M Vadagaon. To be honest, it’s more of a home-based setup than a big corporate office. We’ve lived and worked in this area for a long time. The street is narrow, and you’ll often see kids playing outside or neighbors chatting near the door. Inside, we have a small space dedicated to our work. It’s got everything we need, even if it looks a bit lived-in. There are shelves full of old ledgers and some newer folders. We don't really do much advertising; most people find us because they live nearby or someone they know told them where we are. It’s a quiet life here for the most part. We start the day early, usually with a cup of tea, and just work through whatever needs to be done. Sometimes the dog from next door wanders in, or someone stops by just to say hello. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people in suits. We wear what’s comfortable and focus on the tasks at hand. Sapar Galli is a tight-knit community, and we like being a part of it. When the day is over, we just close up the front and we’re already home. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it works for us and the people we help in the village.
