Chougule Industries

Chougule Industries is based at F-6 in the M.I.D.C. area of Shiroli. It’s a standard industrial shed like many others in this part of town. We’ve been operating out of this unit for several years. Our daily life revolves around the machines and the production schedule. It’s a lot of manual work and the floor is usually covered in metal shavings by the end of the shift. We do various industrial jobs, mostly whatever the local factories need. The weather in Shiroli can get pretty intense, and since the shed is metal, we feel every bit of it. We have a few steady workers who have been with us since the beginning. We don’t have a big corporate structure or anything. If there’s a problem, we just talk it out on the shop floor. We try to keep the machines running smoothly, though they have their moods sometimes. There’s always a bit of grease on everything, including our clothes. We usually have lunch together in the small space at the back. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We don't talk about grand plans; we just focus on the orders we have for the week. People in the Shiroli industrial area know where we are if they need something handled. We just show up, do the work, and go home.
