Out here in Village Wathar Vadgaon, things move a bit differently than in the city. Our place is located near Kini High School, so we hear the bell ring every few hours and the shouting of kids during their breaks. Being right off the NH 4 highway means we get a lot of dust and the constant hum of heavy trucks passing by at all hours. We’ve set up Arun Enterprises in a way that works for the locals who live around here. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we keep our supplies and do our daily tasks. We spend a lot of time cleaning the front area because of all the dirt that blows in from the road. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside in the shade for a bit until it comes back on. It’s a simple operation with just a couple of us handling everything from the unloading to the paperwork. We know most of the people who drop by by their first names. The floor is concrete and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it serves its purpose for what we do. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; we just open the gates in the morning and see what the day brings. It’s honest work and we like being part of this little community near the highway.
