Aakar Arts & Creation

Aakar Arts & Creation is spread out across a few spots in the Mini Shopping Complex here in Akluj. We have Shop No. 24, 48, and 49, so we are a bit divided but we make it work. The complex is on Rupa Mangal Karyala Road, which is a common route for people in town. Having three different shop numbers means we are always walking back and forth between them to grab supplies or show people different things. It is a bit of a workout, but it keeps us on our toes. The Mini Shopping Complex is a lively place where everyone knows everyone else’s business, and we enjoy the chatter and the social side of being here in Akluj. Our shops aren't very big, so we have to be smart about how we use the space for our arts and creations. We keep things simple with wooden shelves and basic tables for our work. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with all the different projects going on at once in different units, but that is just part of our daily life. The road outside can get busy during local events at the Karyala, but mostly it is just the usual rhythm of the town. We don't have any polished marketing or a big staff, just us and the work we do by hand. We like being part of the Rupa Mangal Karyala Road community and seeing familiar faces every day as we open up our three small shops.
