We've been here in Kyalnur for a while now. Most people around Kolar know where we are. It’s a quiet place, just enough space for the kids to do their thing. We started out small because the local families needed a place nearby instead of traveling long distances. The building isn't fancy or anything, but it works for what we need. Every morning the gates open and the noise starts. It’s mostly just us trying to keep things running smoothly. We deal with the usual stuff like broken desks or fixing the garden after the rain. Some days are busier than others, especially when there's an event or something. Parents drop by to talk about their kids, usually during the breaks. We have a few rooms for classes and a bit of a playground out front. It’s not a big corporate operation. It’s just a group of us looking after the day-to-day work here. We just focus on keeping the doors open and making sure the students have what they need for the day. Sometimes the power goes out, or we have to repaint a wall, but that’s just how it is running a place like this in a small town. We like it this way. It feels real and honest to us.
