Ambuja Cements Limited

We spend most of our time here at G-11 in the South Colony area of Ambujanagar. It is a busy spot in Kodinar, especially when the shifts change and everyone is moving around. The sun gets pretty hot out here in Junagadh, so we keep the fans going all day long. There is always a layer of fine dust on the windows, which is just part of being in the cement business. We handle a lot of the paperwork and keep things moving for the local area. It is not a fancy office, just a practical space where we get the job done. Sometimes the trucks line up down the road and it gets a bit noisy, but we are used to it by now. The tea stall nearby is where most of us head when we need a quick break. Most of the people living around here work for the company too, so it feels like a small village where everyone knows each other's business. We don't have much for decorations on the walls, just some calendars and old charts. The floor is concrete, which makes sense given what we do. It is a steady place to work and we have been here a long while now. We keep the gate open during the day so the breeze can come through, even if it brings a bit of grit with it. It is just the way things are in this part of Gujarat.
