Ambuja Cements Limited

This is our main spot in Ambujanagar, out in the Kodinar Taluka. It’s quite a distance from the big cities, situated in the Junagadh district of Gujarat. Ambuja Cements Limited has been the big presence in this area for a long time. It’s a dusty place, as you’d expect with cement, and the trucks are always coming and going. The air smells like hard work and earth. We have a lot of people working here, mostly locals from the surrounding villages. It’s not just an office; it’s a whole site that feels like its own little town. We don’t have fancy city amenities nearby, so we make do with what’s on-site. Life here follows the rhythm of the machines and the shifts. It’s practical and straightforward. We don’t spend time on flowery language or big promises. We just make the product and get it loaded onto the trucks. The sun gets really hot in this part of Gujarat, so we start early. It’s a tough job sometimes, but there’s a sense of pride in seeing those bags stacked up. We’ve been part of this landscape for decades, and it shows in the buildings and the roads around here. It’s a busy life, full of noise and movement, but it feels right to be out here in the middle of it all. We just keep grinding and doing our bit.
