Swathidrugs is located right on the Nh47 in Kalamassery. The address has Kalamassery listed twice, and being on the national highway means there is never a quiet moment. You can hear the heavy trucks and cars zooming past all day long. Kalamassery is a busy spot, and we are right in the middle of that movement. The shop is a basic rectangular space filled with metal shelves. We don't have fancy lights or a big showroom, just the essentials stacked up. Most of our day is spent at the counter or in the small storage area in the back. Because we are on the highway, we get a lot of travelers stopping by who are just passing through, along with the locals who live nearby. The dust from the road is a bit of a constant battle, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases. It’s a simple operation. We open up early in the morning before the traffic gets too heavy and stay until the sun goes down. The sign outside has seen better days, but it does the job. We don’t have a website or any of that, we just rely on being right there on the Nh47 where people can see us. It’s a bit loud and fast-paced, but we like being where the action is. Every day is a bit different depending on who pulls over. We just keep the shelves full and the door open for whoever needs us.
